What zoo is complete without at least one caged animal?

(I always made fun of the spastic parents who got nets for their kids and put 'em in harnesses at the grocery store!    I swore I would NEVER buy one of these things.  I. LOVE. IT!!!  I was out of options and patience.  I'm actually considering a harness too.  I don't want CODE ADAM becoming a regular thing for us)

Spiderman Dash Houdini is one of a kind and we love him but God BETTER give me an easy kid next time or we. are. done. Period.  I'm three for three. I take back all the bad things I ever said about the way other parents raised their kids. I thought I did that after Bryson.... apparently He didn't hear me. Come ON!  I deserve a good one.

Every once in a while

My kids are sweet. Occasionally too much sweetness in a contained area over time causes fermentation.  Our little sweet peas can get pretty sour too sometimes. But every so often we have really good days when everyone gets along, when my kids actually listen to me (well, mostly), and we all CTR. On our way home from Dland Tanner and I were exhausted and we fell asleep with Hud on the plane, while the other two sat quietly in their seats for an hour and a half.  Love it!!!  Then we get in the car and they slept for another hour and a half. Love it even more!!!  On Wednesday Bryson went out to do yardwork without even being asked and Brynn layed quietly on the couch (that's the best she can do).

Disneyland...again

We really went to see baby AJ get blessed (I don't have any pictures of that part of the weekend because I kept forgetting my camera) but we figured we'd swing by Disneyland a couple of times. This is the first time my kids have ever done anything - besides Grandma's house and Lake Tahoe - with my side of the family. They had a total blast and loved hanging out with the Smiths and Webers.

Its not real focused but clear enough to see he's having fun!

Newport beach turned out to be ridiculously windy. I stayed in the car with the two little ones while a few brave (or silly) souls ventured into the stupid wind.

Music to my ears

While driving in the car the other night I heard:

        Bryson rockin' out "Well So What? I'm still a rockstar...I got my rock moves..."

                Brynn trying to sing Love Story with me (my new very favorite song)

                         Hudson singing a medley of every song he's ever heard to the tune of Keep Bleeding

I love car rides like that! I love that my kids inherited my love of music. I can't wait till the pounding on the piano turns into an actual song!
