I looked out the window and what did I see?
Not popcorn! But all my many hours of planting (and replanting when the dang dog unearthed my bulbs). In a few more weeks this will all be beautiful!
Mr. Caution's new accessory
Safety first people. Safety first.
Those of you who saw my last post will understand this is a joke. I am not the kind of parent who obsesses over preventative measures. If they fall, they fall. If they fall because they were doing something stupid, it's their fault. Don't do stupid things that you know are dangerous. Simple.

UMMM, Found the problem
Snow Much Fun!!!
On Monday everyone had the day off and we went to the snow--FINALLY-- with the Mendiola's. It had snowed most of the weekend and was still snowing while we were there which meant a lot of fresh powder. I mean. A. LOT. We had to blaze a trail through the waist deep snow (two trails if you count the fact that we took a wrong turn.)
All the little ones got tired pretty quick walking in snow that was deeper than them.
Making our own snow hill
Pulling the 3 youngest in the sled. They ended up burried in snow. Don't they look like they're having fun?!
The snow cave in the parking lot was probably the highlight of the day
The cave was big enough for the big boys to play in.
Some other kids helped make the roof cave in
A cool picture of the mountains that would have been even better if my camera was ready just a few minutes earlier

Huddy's Birthday
Tanner and I are on the activities committee and this weekend was our 80's Prom Night ward Valentine party. We decorated the church from 8:30-2:30 on Saturday and then had to get ready and be back down at the church. There just wasn't any time to celebrate Hudson's birthday. Fortunately he didn't know the difference and was just as happy to do it on Sunday instead.
So ready for a nap that we had to bust thru presents so he could get some shut-eye before church.
Way to use your teeth!
Thanx to Debi for my cake-decorating kit. Hud's fishy cake turned out cute!
