On Monday everyone had the day off and we went to the snow--FINALLY-- with the Mendiola's. It had snowed most of the weekend and was still snowing while we were there which meant a lot of fresh powder. I mean. A. LOT. We had to blaze a trail through the waist deep snow (two trails if you count the fact that we took a wrong turn.)
All the little ones got tired pretty quick walking in snow that was deeper than them.
Making our own snow hill
Pulling the 3 youngest in the sled. They ended up burried in snow. Don't they look like they're having fun?!
The snow cave in the parking lot was probably the highlight of the day
The cave was big enough for the big boys to play in.
Some other kids helped make the roof cave in
A cool picture of the mountains that would have been even better if my camera was ready just a few minutes earlier

looks like a really fun day!! And the mountains are beautiful -even if your camera messed up!
How come you actually had to "go to" the snow? There's not snow in Reno right now? That's odd, compared to the past few years when you got snowed in, right? Looks like a fun day though. We are going to the snow next weekend & I'm totally excited about it!
